I want to wish a Merry Christmas to all my readers. In Nigeria, they don’t really celebrate Christmas Eve. The celebration is on Christmas Day itself. So, three years ago, I decided that I was missing the Christmas Eve meal I was used to in France and I started my own tradition of a family dinner on the 24th of December. So, yesterday night, even if we were only six of us, my husband and I, my two daughters, my niece and her friend, we got dressed up and I used my best tableware. And we really spent a good time.
Merry Christmas to you too. Enjoy! 🙂

It’s great that you started to your own tradition. From time to time it’s good to differ from the rest.

Thank you, Kongo Mum. Millions are sharing the same tradition all over the world, though. But you are right: In Nigeria, I am quite unique!
