  1. Indeed, what does hair has to do with being Africans? Why can’t we Africans do what we want with our hair without being judged for it? Why can all the girls on the planet style their hair as they like but we Africains can’t? Because my hair is relaxed I am not black enough?
    Because you have natural hair, it means that you are better than me? that you embrace your blackness and I don’t? when is all this nonsense going to stop? I am a litlle bit tired of those kind of stereotypes and I do believe that each and anyone of us has the right to do what we see fit with our own hair. Live and let live!

    Oprah is definitely right, black women have two obsessions: hair and hair…………

      You are so right about this. I am still writing a post about it but the hair chapter is closed for me. I understand the identity struggle, but do whatever you want with your hair!

  2. Is it possible to see the post before it’s published? there are some grammatical errors that I have just seen but now it’s too late to correct them. can something be done about it?
